Spring Skincare

Time to shave those legs and soak in some Vitamin D, Spring is here at last. I thought it would be good to write about some moisturisers I use to keep my skin feeling silky smooth!

My favs are:

Zoella’s Wondrous Whip

Nice and cool against the skin on those warm days that makes you feel instantly refreshed.

It was slightly thick (reminded me a bit of a body butter), so it took longer to rub it in. No complaints as it really does make my skin soft and glowing.

Recently I bought her ‘Quench Me’ body sorbet from her new beauty collection Splash Botanical. I’m so excited to use it.

I personally love Zoella Beauty and so does my family. I have yet to try a product that has disappointed me.

Essano’s Rosehip Pure Defence SPF15 Moisturiser

This feels very light on the skin, scented with a soft rose scent. It leaves your skin with a floral fragrance.

I don’t know if this is normal but when it was soaking into my skin I rubbed my face and noticed dead skin (gross sorry!) coming off. It was like exfoliating my skin as well.

It also works nicely when using the Essano’s Rosehip cleanser first. It’s a gel cleanser that helps hydrate the skin.

Jurlique’s Refreshing Body Lotion

This lotion I love. The delicate citrus scent was mandarin, tangerine and lemon I believe. I easily detected the lemon. It wasn’t too powerful of a scent to put you off.

It felt refreshing (as it says on the bottle) on the skin. Also, it was quick to absorb and rub into the skin which I found really nice.

I’ll admit I’m not the best at remembering to always moisturise my skin and when I do…I can’t be bothered. Going through my moisturisers for this post reminded me to take care of my skin. Even if I’m in a rush I at least take the time now to make sure I mosturise my face. It makes me feel so much fresher during the day.

Until next time…
