Hey guys, hope you’re all having a blissful day!
Let’s try this again! I wrote this whole thing out and all I had to do was add one more photo and the whole post was gone. As if it didn’t save properly. So after I had an internal freak out I just had to take a deep breathe…and start again. Anyway, enough about my drama you all came here to read about my time at the market.
I’ve read so many blog post where people have gone to Christmas markets and they look so magical. It’s night time and all the fairy lights are twinkling. You can picture being all rugged up and being all snuggling while walking around the market with a hot drink.
This market was similar except it was warm, cold drinks, wearing t-shirts and shorts but it was great going to the market and seeing different local businesses. There were a range of businesses from local flower shops, fruit and veg, clothes, accessories, henna and even tarot reading plus so much more. It’s held every second Sunday and this market’s theme was Christmas.
As it was a warm day a couple of stalls were inside while majority were still in the parking lot. *I’ve just noticed if you look towards the bottom left corner there’s a Santa Claus casually strolling in the background lol!*
Now, one of my favourite stalls I came across was obviously the candle stall.
The lady was so lovely and friendly. The business is called Jodie’s Candles – Home Scents (Quality Soy Candles & Melts). I love her packaging and all the festive scents. I regret not buying one of these now.
I’ve never seen candles with these scents before and the gingerbread one smelt so good! I wish I bought one.
The next stall is a business called the Natural Bath Bombs (Sugar Scrubs & Bath Salts). They offered a range of sugar scrubs, baths salts and cute little bath bombs. They say they’re cruelty free, 100% chemical-free, 100% organic, 100% biodegradable, vegan and all natural. It also will not stain skin or the bath tub.
The last stall I want to mention is the Purrfect Paws Rescue Inc. This organization is for pets (dogs or cats) and sell little goodies for them. All profits earned will go towards the rescue foundation which I thought was super cool.
We picked up a cat goody bag to share between my two cats. It contained a couple of bags of treats and a little bag of cat toys. That will be there Christmas present (yes we do presents for our pets).
We also bought a treat mat. I’ve never seen one of these before and thought it looked fun. Apparently we scatter treats throughout the mat and they have to scavenge for it. It sounds similar to a one of those treat puzzle boxes for dogs.
They also sold cute wooden tree decorations. We had to get a couple of them.
Just before we left, in true Aussie fashion, we got a sausage sizzle for lunch, ending the day nicely.
Today’s advent present was a travel size conditioner to go with my travel size shampoo.
Hope you liked this post and enjoyed reading it. See you guys tomorrow!
Until next time…
