Hey guys, how are you today?
I’m sorry this is up later than usual, but I’ve had internet problems. It’s been running very slowly, and nothing was loading. During these days it’s made me notice how many things I depend on that is connected to the internet.
Now the post is all about podcasts. Podcasts seem to be an up and coming thing and I started to get into them towards the end of last year. I downloaded Castbox and I’ve really enjoyed it. I thought to myself ‘why didn’t I do this earlier?’ They’re great! Podcasts are perfect for any moment during the day, filling the silence, whether that’s in the car, on the bus, even when having a soak in the bath. That’s my go-to or reading (book or audiobook).
Below are the podcasts that I’m currently loving as well as podcasts I plan to listen to.
Mile Higher Podcast
I have only just started this podcast and have only listened to two episodes but I first heard about this podcast on Zoe Sugg’s channel (Zoella), in one of her vlogs. It’s a husband and wife duo that discuss crime and conspiracies all throughout history, these include popular crimes and conspiracies as well as ones I’ve never even heard of. Definitely worth it to have a listen if true crime and conspiracies interest you.
The Osbourne’s Podcast
If you love the Osbourne’s and loved the show, then this is a must to add to your list. Each episode the Osbourne’s focus on different topics within their lives and pretty much have a conversation, discussing their opinions and views. It has a bit of everything. I listen to this with my mum as we both enjoy the Osbourne’s and found this a good listen.
Now this podcast was recommended to me during High School. It’s all about an investigative journalist explaining and analysing a true crime story. Each season focusses on one specific crime, where they go through evidence, interviews, alibis, you name it. If I’m correct I believe they’re on the third season. Each episode is allocated to a different key area in the crime. It’s fascinating. If you enjoy crime shows, then you need to listen to this.
I listened to this podcast a year or so ago but I, without a doubt, want to start listening to it again.
This is such a low-key, chill podcast with Alisha Marie and Remi Cruz. When listening, it reminds me of conversations you would have when you catch up with your friends. They’re both YouTubers in America. I began watching Alisha last year during Vlogmas (my favourite time of the year!), which is where I later discovered that the duo had a podcast on the side. I listened to this the first time when I was soaking in a relaxing bubble bath. It was a great way to fill the silence and I found myself smiling along to the stories. I felt like I was a part of the conversation, there right with them. Another thing I love about the podcast is their honesty about being a YouTuber and living that type of lifestyle. It was great seeing them behind the scenes.
Rhett and Link from Good Mythical Morning have a podcast and I only found this out a month ago. I don’t know how I missed but I thought straight away I’ve got to listen to this. If you love their YouTube channel then without a doubt you’ll love their podcast. It holds the same feel except for the fact you can’t see them visually but you can picture them talking. They cover multiple topics and have discussions but keep it engaging.
At Home With…
Again, this is one I’ve only listened to twice but enjoyed. Two women, Lily Pebbles and Anna Newton, who visit different female guests houses and discuss career, interior design, their inspiration and motivation to achieve their goals. It’s great to hear all the different stories conquering different industries. I’ve only listened to the episodes involving Zoe Sugg and Tanya Burr but looking forward to hearing everyone else’s stories.
Podcasts I Plan on Listening to:
- Shane and Friends
- Big fan of Shane Dawson but never actually listened to his podcast so I’m curious to see what it’s like
- Jenna and Julien Podcast
- I’ve been watching Jenna Marbles for a few years now so her’s and Julien’s podcast is definitely added to my Must Listen To list
- Feminists Don’t Wear Pink
- Currently reading the book and adoring it so I’m eager to start this.
Alright so these are all the podcasts I’ve been loving and planning on listening to! Hope you enjoyed this post.
Let me know what podcasts you have been listening to in the comments as I’m always looking for something new to check out 😊
Hope you have a great day/night!
Until next time…
