Hello everyone! How are you all today?
Today is the last Top 5 Tuesday of 2019. I’ve really had a lot of fun doing these and will 100% be continuing these next year. That’s freaky…that the next time I publish a Top 5 Tuesday will be next year. Ahhh alrighty well as you probably all know by now Top 5 Tuesday is hosted by Shanah from Bionic Book Worm. Let’s get straight to it. If I wrote a list to Santa these five books will be on it…
Mooncakes by Suzanne Walker
This looks like such a cute graphic novel. I’ve been searching for it since October but haven’t managed to find it in stores. Even on Book Depository there’s a wait on it. It’s been given good reviews and has appraisals for it’s representations and all the characters.
Alex, Approximately by Jenn Bennett
After reading Serious Moonlight I’ve been wanting to find all the Jenn Bennett books. This was said that those who love You’ve Got Mail (which I do!) will love this book as it’s like a YA spin on it. Immediately sold.
It’s Not Okay to Feel Blue and Other Lies by Scarlet Curtis (+ contributing authors)
Earlier this year I read Feminists Don’t Wear Pink (and Other Lies) which I thoroughly enjoyed. When she started talking about her new book and how this one was focused on mental health I definitely added it to my ‘to buy’ list.
Well Met by Jen DeLuca
This book just seems like a fun read. It’s a rom-com with enemies to lovers set at a Renaissance Faire. This seems a whole lot of fun.
Get a Life, Chloe Brown by Talia Hibbert
This book was on my wishlist before it even came out and now seeing all the reviews on it, I really want to read it now. The representations seem to be written well as it seems like a book I could fall in love with.
If you’re curious about any of the books I’ve left links to their Goodreads page. Hope you enjoy reading this! What books are on your wishlist?
Until next time…
