How are you doing? You okay? Hope you’re all staying safe.
A new month of Top 5 Tuesday has commenced. We are starting with something different from the usual bookish topics, all about activities to keep us occupied and motivated while in isolation.
Top 5 Tuesday is hosted by Shanah @ Bionic Book Worm and if you’re interested in the upcoming topics or want to join in I’ll leave the links for them here.
To distract myself I’ve been trying to keep up with my bullet journal. While doing this I listen to my audiobook. I love going through Pinterest to get inspiration and it’s something that’s relaxing.
Follow fun exercise routines or yoga routines on YouTube
To break up my day, I like to find and do fun work out routines or yoga routines on YouTube. There’s so much variety to choose from. For my yoga I enjoy the channel Yoga with Adriene. For my work outs I choose more dance cardio based ones. It just makes it more fun.
My blog or Uni
This seems like an obvious one but I have to remind myself that I have Uni work. Being at home everyday makes me feel out of whack as we continue with work but the course is constantly changing and transferring online. There’s distractions at home as well so my concentration levels vary hahaha. Oh well, I do a little bit each day so I’m at least doing something and hopefully not falling too behind!
It’s always good to keep connections whilst staying inside. The other day we had a ‘virtual’ party for my friend as it was her birthday and it was nice to catch up with everyone. I don’t really how much I needed a catch up until afterwards and I feel happier. Even if it was just chilling, casual and not doing anything full on. It’s nice just to say hi.
This will always be my sanity saver no matter what. I’m currently participating in the O.W.L’s readathon so that’s helping my reading and makes me more keen to keep reading. I mean as if I need any help haha.
What are your sanity savers? Hope you enjoyed reading 🙂
Until next time…
